Ok so it has been a while since my last post and a lot has happened in that time including my successful completion of my course at university, so I will begin from the start...
As mentioned after a total of six years of studying I finished my course at university, and was delighted to graduate alongside friends who have also been on the same 6 year journey.
So, I decided a good place to start would be to gain more experience by getting work placements or even better get a job in a design studio.
I began with a placement at Draught Associates a great design studio in East London where I was able to work close with the designers and help with some briefs, for clients including CABE and Building futures, and others Im at present not allowed to mention due to them being still in production.
My Next placement was at Ingredient a specialist design agency in soho where I was lucky enough to work close to the designers on some great briefs, as a large amount of their work is motion graphics it was outside knowledge but soon started to pick up on things and am now interested in learning more in that area!
I was able to prove myself on what I could do and they trusted me enough to do some work on a large breif they was working on which I was excited about as is a passion of mine, unfortunately as it is a large brief and still in development I am unable to say anything about it but watch this space as when it is revealed I will explain more.
At present I am currently working as a freelancer for Croydon College working on some cool items anything from flyers to Situational Advertisements, Im also very excited about working alongside with my colleague and friend Jonathan from New Notion on a brief for Channel 4. For a new programme hitting the screens next year! Which I will explain more about later as its kept under wraps at the moment. But watch this space.
I have just recently finished another black ''doodle'' book so be prepared for some late night posts of some of the ideas created
by me and my trusted black Bic Biro
